With Complete Setup and Migration or Full White-Glove, we move your documents, photos, music, and downloads, your email accounts and signatures, your browser bookmarks and saved passwords, and reinstall the apps you use every day. For Windows 10 replacements we also securely wipe the old drive so nothing personal leaves your hands.

What is included in the Essential Setup? +
Unboxing and first-time Windows configuration, user account setup (local or Microsoft account), Wi-Fi and network, all Windows and driver updates set to run automatically, basic personalization, and one printer or device connected. It gets your new PC ready to use. It does not include moving files and apps from an old machine; that is the Complete Setup and Migration tier.
Which setup tier do most people need? +
Most people replacing an old computer choose Complete Setup and Migration, because it moves your files, photos, email, bookmarks, and everyday apps from the old PC to the new one, on top of everything in Essential. Choose Essential if the PC is brand new with nothing to move over, and Full White-Glove if you want licenses, multiple accounts, security hardening, and a secure wipe of the old drive handled too.
How long does setup take? +
Essential is about an hour, Complete Setup and Migration is about two hours, and Full White-Glove is about three hours or by scope for larger jobs. Timing depends mostly on how much data has to move and how many apps you use. We give you a firm quote at drop-off before we start.
Do you set up a computer I bought somewhere else? +
Yes. Bring the new PC to our Herndon shop no matter where you bought it, along with your old computer if you want data moved over. We also set up laptops, mini PCs, and Macs.
Is setup included if Fateka builds my PC? +
Yes. Every custom PC we build includes the Essential level of setup in the build labor, so a machine we build is ready to use when you pick it up. If you also want data and apps moved from an old computer, you can add the Complete Setup and Migration tier.
Can you set up multiple computers for my business? +
