What computers qualify for FatechWatch? +
FatechWatch is for Windows PCs only. Macs are not supported. Your PC needs to support Windows 11, which requires an Intel 8th Gen or newer or AMD Ryzen 2000 series or newer processor. Windows 11 Pro is required. If you are running Windows Home, we can upgrade it to Pro for a one-time fee of $100. Not sure if your computer qualifies? We check for free.
Do I need to bring my computer to the store? +
No. Setup is done entirely remotely. For in-person help, visit our store at 585 Grove St, Suite G-10, Herndon, VA, or request an on-site home visit.
How does FatechWatch protect my computer? +
We keep Windows Defender as your antivirus foundation and add an endpoint detection and response layer on top. This is the same type of technology used by banks and hospitals. A 24/7 security operations center with human threat hunters reviews every alert, catches advanced threats that antivirus alone misses, and stops ransomware before it can encrypt your files. We also monitor your PC's health, manage all Windows updates, and have direct remote access to troubleshoot issues in real time.
What happens after my 1 hour of support? +
Your included hour covers remote access sessions where we connect directly to your PC and resolve issues. Additional remote support is $100/hour in 6-minute increments. 12 extra minutes = $20. On-site home visits are $200 per visit, or $150 for FatechWatch members (25% off).
Can I add more computers later? +
Yes. Each additional household PC is $30/month with $95 setup. Same full protection including monitoring, threat detection, updates, and support.
